MyVillain ("we", "our", "us") operates the MyVillain application and website at myvillain.ai. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
When you use MyVillain without signing in, we generate a random anonymous identifier stored in your browser. We store your conversation messages, extracted memory summaries, and profile facts (things you tell our characters about yourself like your job, hobbies, or relationships) so that characters can remember you across sessions.
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. We use your email to link your account and process payments.
When you subscribe to MyVillain Premium, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy.
Your conversation messages and extracted facts are sent to third-party AI services (Google Gemini via OpenRouter, and OpenAI for text embeddings) to generate character responses and process memories. These services process your data to provide the service and may retain it according to their own policies.
We use your data to provide the MyVillain service, remember your conversations, personalise character interactions, process payments, and improve the product.
In compliance with Apple App Store Guideline 5.1.2(i), we disclose that personal data you share in conversations is transmitted to third-party AI services including Google (Gemini) and OpenAI (embeddings) to generate responses. By using MyVillain, you consent to this data sharing.
Your data is stored on Supabase servers in the Sydney, Australia region. Conversations, memories, and profile facts are retained until you request deletion.
You can request deletion of all your data by emailing us. We will delete your account, conversations, memories, and profile facts within 30 days.
MyVillain is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 17. If we learn that a user is under 17, we will delete their data.
